Purpose: Self-Love, Healing, Confidence
Best Moon Phase: Waxing or Full (but Any is fine)
Elements: Fire, Water
Tools & Ingredients:
- 1 small pink or white candle (tea light is fine)
- A small bowl of water
- A pinch of salt (or a calming herb like chamomile or lavender)
- Pen & small piece of paper
- Optional: a comforting object (plushie, stone, pillow, etc.)
Instructions:
- Prepare & Ground
- Sit somewhere you won’t be disturbed for a few minutes.
- Place the candle, bowl of water, salt, and paper in front of you.
- Take 3 slow breaths, feeling your body supported by the chair/bed/floor.
- Say: “I am here. I am safe enough. I am willing to be kinder to myself.”
- Set Intention
- On the paper, write a single sentence of self-love or self-acceptance, such as: “I am worthy of love and care, exactly as I am.”
- Fold the paper once toward you and place it under the candle.
- Create the Cleansing Water
- Sprinkle a pinch of salt (or herb) into the water, saying: “I cleanse old stories of not-enoughness.Only truth and kindness remain.”
- Light the Candle & Raise Energy
- Light the candle.
- Place one hand over your heart, one over your belly or thigh.
- Look at the flame and gently repeat your sentence 3–9 times.
- As you do, imagine the light filling your chest with soft warmth.
- Seal the Spell
- Dip your fingertips lightly in the water and touch your heart or forehead, saying: “This love is mine.I allow it to grow in me, day by day.”
- Sit quietly for a few breaths, letting the warmth settle.
- Release & Close
- When you’re ready, snuff the candle.
- Say: “This working is complete.May I treat myself with growing gentleness from this day on.”
- Pour the water down the sink or onto the earth with thanks.
- Mundane Follow-Up
- Do one small kind thing for yourself within 24 hours:
- go to bed early
- make a comforting drink
- say no to something draining
- write a loving note to yourself
